Village of Gowanda CodeRED Emergency Notification

This program has been up and running at the Village of Gowanda since May 1, 2014.

CodeRED is a phone messaging system to issue warnings on storms or other emergencies, as well as scheduled street closings, power outages or other non-emergency situations of public interest.

A database of village residents will be developed using home phones, cell phones, e-mail, texting and whatever other platform a residence specifies for notification. CodeRED calls can even be made to smart phones and iPads.
