The meeting will not be on April 12, 2022

Pursuant to Section 5-508 of the Village Law of the State of New York, the tentative budget for the Village of Gowanda has been prepared and filed with the Village Clerk at the Village Office, 27 East Main Street, Gowanda, New York, where it may be examined by all interested persons between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. -12 p.m. on Friday.  Said tentative budget includes a maximum compensation for the Mayor of $8,000, the Deputy Mayor of $4,500 and for the Trustees of $4,000 per annum.

A summary of the tentative budget is as follows:

            General Fund              $ 2,069,449.00

            Water Fund                 $ 785,869.00

            Sewer Fund                 $ 968,179.00

A public hearing on the Budget will be held at the Village of Gowanda Municipal Hall, 27 East Main Street, Gowanda, New York on March 22, 2022 at 5 PM to consider the same before final adoption.
