As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with Executive Order 202.1, please be advised that members of the public will not be permitted to attend the Village of Gowanda Board Meeting on April 7th, 2020.
The meeting will be recorded and transcribed at a later date per Executive Order 202.1. Meeting minutes will be posted to the web-site after the meeting as usual. Members of the public may email questions or comments for the Board of Trustees to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Village Board of Trustees will address questions and concerns during their regularly scheduled meetings.

In response to COVID-19 and CDC guideline, we are closing the Village Office to the public until further notice.
- Please leave a message at 716-532-3353 or email at email@example.com. Office staff will be in the office each day on a limited schedule to check message, return calls and take care of regular operating business as necessary.
- Appointments can be made for death or birth certificates, building permits, or other matters as necessary by calling 716-532-3353 or emailing the clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org
- Water/Sewer bills will come out April 1st as usual. Residents are required to use the drop box located at the Police entrance or mail them to 27 East Main St, Gowanda NY 14070 (please don’t mail cash). Bills are due April 30th-but no late fee will be assessed until May 31st.
- DPW employees will be working on a rotating schedule.
The Village elections have been postponed until September 15th from Noon-9 PM.
