Public Scoping Meeting with Broadway Group (Dollar General) will take place after the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on September 8, 2020,  7:30 PM at the Hollywood Theater, 39 West Main St.

Reminder to all Village residents

The Village elections will be held on Tuesday September 15th from noon-9 PM.  These are the elections for two trustees that was supposed to take place back in March.  Polling place is located at the Village Hall.  Masks are required and please remember to practice safe social distancing.

Waterfront Development Project construction will be starting July 6th at Gateway Park and Creekside Park . S. St.George has been contracted by the Village for all construction including amphitheater access at both Gateway and Creekside, Union Street access clean-up at Creekside and wall stabilization and underpinning along the creek bank and a small craft boat launch at Gateway Park.

Some areas of Gateway and Creekside Park will NOT be accessible and taped off as a restricted construction area. Please stay away from all construction equipment during this time.

\Village of Gowanda Police will be patrolling the construction area on a regular basis.

The Village of Gowanda Board of Trustees will be holding a special meeting on May 20, 2020 at 6 PM.  The purpose of the meeting is to award the Waterfront Development bid. Due to Executive Orders 202.1 the meeting will be closed to the public.  A transcription of that meeting will be made available to the public.
